About this subscription:
In early May 2024, the Federal Attorney General, Mark Dreyfus, indicated the updated Privacy Act legislation would be presented to parliament in August 2024.

That date slipped to September "amid busy legislative agenda".

Many anticipated these changes occurring towards the year's end or even rolling into 2025.

The initial legislation was presented to parliament on the 12th September 2024, however we anticipate additional changes to the privacy act following the 2025 federal election.
What we're offering:
Our insight, expertise and perspective as it relates to the impact of the proposed legislation on Marketing Automation practitioners.
We'll be working hard to find key information as it becomes available and share it with you via email.

Additional information will be published on our Privacy & Governance microsite.

We'll send you a link to our Linkedin Group, a moderated space specifically built for Australian marketers and those marketing into Australia.
What we're not offering:
We're not offering legal advice. We encourage your organisation to refer to in-house counsel or other legal service providers to ensure compliance with the impending changes being legislated by the Australian Government.
